Mabo is a tribute to the first man to reach the summit of the Nevado de Longaví volcano, an altitude of 3,242m above sea level, an omnipresent presence in Chile's Maule Valley. Mabo Strabucchi conquered the summit in 1946 with nothing more than his basic equipment, and a desire to reach the summit. Mabo is the best possible wine from selected vineyards in the dry interior of the Maule Valley, and is a true expression of the granite terroir.
