La Historia
Longaví nace en el 2012 cuando dos amigos de diferentes continentes —el chileno Julio Bouchon y el sudafricano David Nieuwoudt— deciden iniciar un proyecto común. Julio, miembro de la cuarta generación familiar elaborando vinos en Chile, y David, dueño de Cederberg Private Cellar, una de las bodegas más prestigiosas y antiguas de Sudáfrica, cruzaron sus historias familiares y el Océano Atlántico por esta aventura. Por más de diez años Longaví fue madurando y agregando nuevos desafíos, uniéndose para alcanzarlos Juan Bouchon, hermano menor de Julio, y el enólogo chileno Christian Sepúlveda.
Longaví was founded in 2012 when two friends from different continents—Chilean Julio Bouchon and South African David Nieuwoudt—decided to embark on a joint project. Julio, a member of the fourth generation of the family making wines in Chile, and David, owner of Cederberg Private Cellar, one of South Africa's oldest and most prestigious wineries, crossed their family histories and the Atlantic Ocean for this adventure. For more than ten years, Longaví matured and added new challenges, joined by Juan Bouchon, Julio's younger brother, and Chilean winemaker Christian Sepúlveda.
