El Secano Interior
Longaví tiene sus raíces en el secano interior. Se conoce como el secano interior al área ubicada en los lomajes de la Cordillera de la Costa y en que las vides dependen únicamente del agua de lluvia almacenada en el suelo. Los suelos de granito descompuesto, de muy antigua data, ayudan a que las viñas logren raíces profundas y tengan el agua suficiente. Además de preservar el medio ambiente, este enfoque sustentable produce vinos con una intensidad y profundidad notables.
Longaví has its roots in the dry farm area. The interior drylands refer to the area located in the foothills of the Coastal Mountain Range, where the vines depend solely on rainwater stored in the soil. The ancient, decomposed granite soils help the vines establish deep roots and have sufficient water. In addition to preserving the environment, this sustainable approach produces wines with remarkable intensity and depth.
